2-Year Limited Warranty

At Forestly Equipments (“Forestly”, “we”, “our”), we stand behind the products we sell. This Limited Warranty explains what is covered, what is not, and how to make a claim. By submitting a warranty claim, you acknowledge and accept the terms below.

Who is covered

Eligibility & ownership

This Limited Warranty extends only to the original purchaser who bought an eligible product directly from forestlyequipments.com or through our authorised sales channels.

  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice) is required to obtain service.
  • The warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners, unless required by applicable law.

Warranty period

Duration of coverage

Forestly warrants that eligible products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of shipment (the “Warranty Period”), provided that:

  • The product is used in line with the supplied manuals and safety documentation.
  • The product is installed, stored, and handled correctly.
  • Routine maintenance is carried out at the intervals recommended by Forestly or the OEM.

What we will do

Remedies for covered defects

If a covered defect arises during the Warranty Period, Forestly will, at its option and discretion:

  • Repair the product or affected component; or
  • Provide replacement parts required to correct the covered defect; or
  • Replace the product with the same model or a functionally equivalent model; or
  • Offer a reasonable credit or discount toward a replacement where repair or replacement is not practical.

Repairs or replacements may be made using new or refurbished parts and are limited to the models, versions, and finishes available at the time service is provided. Coverage is limited to the specific item that exhibits the defect.

What is not covered

Common exclusions

Wear & maintenance

  • Normal wear and tear and routine maintenance items, including but not limited to: blades, teeth, belts, clutches, chains, filters, hoses, bearings, wheels, consumables, and fluids.
  • Damage arising from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation, improper storage, or operation contrary to the product manual or safety instructions.

External forces & modifications

  • Damage from external forces such as weather, corrosion, flooding, fire, impacts, or transportation damage occurring after delivery.
  • Any modifications or alterations not approved by Forestly, or use with incompatible accessories, fuels, or components.
  • Cosmetic conditions that do not affect function (including minor scuffs, scratches, dents, or discolouration).
  • Products purchased from unauthorised sellers or products with no verifiable proof of purchase.

Third-party components & engines

OEM warranty interaction

Certain components—such as engines, powerheads, and electronic modules—may be covered by an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) warranty.

  • Where applicable, OEM warranties apply in addition to (or, in some cases, instead of) this Limited Warranty.
  • Forestly will assist in directing you to the appropriate OEM service channel or documentation so you can access that coverage.

How to make a warranty claim

Step-by-step process

Prepare

  1. Stop using the product to prevent further damage or safety risks.
  2. Gather proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice from forestlyequipments.com or an authorised channel).
  3. Collect media: clear photos and/or a short video showing the issue and the overall condition of the product.

Submit

Email our support team at Support@forestlyequipments.com with:

  • Your order number and product name/SKU.
  • Your contact details and the address where the product is located.
  • A description of the problem, when it began, and steps to reproduce it.
  • Photos/videos attached or provided as accessible links.

Our claims team will acknowledge your request and respond with next steps, usually within 2 business days. Do not ship any product back without a written Return Authorisation (RA) from Forestly.

Service, parts & returns under warranty

How service is delivered

Service methods

  • Repairs may be carried out by Forestly, an authorised service partner, or via parts-in-field replacement.
  • We may require that the product be shipped to a designated service location. All shipping must follow the instructions provided with your RA.

Freight & special services

  • Special freight services—such as expedited transport, liftgate services beyond our standard unloading, residential re-delivery, or appointment windows outside normal carrier practice—are not covered by this Limited Warranty.
  • Unless Forestly explicitly agrees in writing, such services are at the customer’s expense.

Customer responsibilities

Conditions for maintaining coverage

To remain eligible for coverage under this Limited Warranty, you agree to:

  • Follow all installation, operation, and maintenance instructions provided in the product manual and supporting documentation.
  • Use appropriate fuels, fluids, and wear parts as specified by Forestly or the OEM.
  • Provide timely information and media (photos/videos) as requested to assist with diagnosis and warranty review.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Scope of Forestly’s obligations

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED ABOVE, FORESTLY EQUIPMENTS MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

IN NO EVENT SHALL FORESTLY EQUIPMENTS OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR LOST REVENUE. FORESTLY’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
