30-Day Free Returns
Products purchased from forestlyequipments.com are eligible for a refund or exchange within 30 days of delivery. Within the contiguous United States, eligible returns include free return shipping when you use the prepaid label provided by Forestly.
Our aim is to make returns straightforward: clear steps, honest assessment, and fast processing once your equipment arrives back at our designated location.
How Returns & Exchanges Work
How to start a return or exchange

Request Authorization (RMA)
Email Support@forestlyequipments.com with:- Your order number.
- The item(s) you’re returning.
- A brief reason for the return or exchange.

Receive instructions
We’ll reply (usually within 1–2 business days) with your RMA details, a prepaid return label (for eligible U.S. returns), and packing directions. Returns sent without authorization may be refused or delayed. -
Request an exchange (optional)
If you’d like an exchange, include your preferred SKU/model in your email. Any price difference will be invoiced or refunded after we receive and inspect your return.
Packing & safety requirements
To protect your refund and keep carriers safe, please follow these steps:
- Original packaging: Return the product in its original packaging, with all parts, accessories, and manuals included.
- Freight items: Freight or palletized equipment must be secured on a pallet using appropriate straps/banding and protected with wrap or cardboard to prevent movement and damage.
- Fuel-powered equipment: Drain all fuels/flammables and allow the machine to vent and dry for at least 24 hours before transport, as required by law.
If packaging is insufficient and damage occurs in transit, we may adjust the refund to reflect restoration or repair costs.
How refunds are issued
- Timing: Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are typically issued within 5 business days to the original payment method. Bank or card issuer processing times may vary.
- No restocking fee: For eligible returns in original condition with all components, no restocking fee applies.
- Adjustments: If items are missing, show use beyond reasonable inspection, or arrive damaged due to improper packing, we may adjust the refund to cover restoration, missing components, or repair costs.
What is returnable vs. non-returnable
Returnable (if within 30 days)
- Products with manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
- Components that are damaged in normal use due to a covered defect (subject to evaluation).
Non-returnable items
- Used, installed, modified, or damaged items (not due to carrier damage or manufacturer defect).
- Items returned without original packaging or missing components/accessories.
- Consumables and wear parts (e.g., belts, blades, chains, oils) once opened or used, unless defective on arrival.
- Any item that still contains fuels or flammables not drained as required.
- Stolen or lost products.
Specific return situations
Damaged upon receipt
If your shipment arrives damaged:
- Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing.
- Take clear photos/videos at delivery of the packaging and product.
- Contact Forestly within 5 business days.
At our discretion, we will arrange replacement parts, a product replacement, or a return at no cost to you.
Incorrect quantity / missing parts
If your order appears incomplete:
- Photograph the outer carton and any internal packing materials.
- Compare contents against the packing list.
- Email the details and photos to Support@forestlyequipments.com.
Once confirmed, we’ll ship any missing items or components to you free of charge.
Defective products
If your product does not function correctly under normal use:
- Contact our support team for technical assistance and initial troubleshooting.
- If we determine that the item is defective and not reasonably field-repairable, we will arrange a replacement or a free return with a full refund.
Cancellations
- Before dispatch: Email us to cancel. Orders cancelled before dispatch are eligible for a full refund.
- After dispatch: Please accept delivery and then request a return using the standard steps above. Returns within 30 days remain eligible for free return shipping (where applicable).
Processing & delivery reference (for context)
- Processing: Orders typically require 5–8 business days for processing before dispatch (verification, allocation, and carrier booking).
- Shipping (U.S.): Free shipping within the contiguous United States. Typical transit is 8–12 business days after dispatch, depending on location and carrier conditions.
- Unloading: Free professional unloading is included for LTL freight deliveries so you can receive your mill or equipment safely at ground level.
These timelines are provided as a reference and may vary due to carrier performance, weather, and other factors outside Forestly’s direct control.
Return locations & warranty support
Where to send returns
Return locations may vary by product, size, and carrier. To ensure proper routing:
- Always use the address printed on your RMA / return label.
- Returns sent without authorization or to an incorrect address may be delayed, refused, or subject to additional handling.
Warranty (separate from returns)
Forestly products carry a 2-year limited warranty. Warranty coverage and claims operate separately from the 30-day return policy.
Depending on the situation, we may resolve warranty issues via:
- Parts shipped for field installation.
- Authorized repair.
- Product replacement where appropriate.
