30-Day Free Returns
Products purchased from forestlyequipments.com are eligible for a refund or exchange within 30 days of delivery. Returns within the contiguous U.S. include free return shipping when you use the prepaid label provided by Forestly.
How to Start a Return/Exchange
- Request Authorization (RMA): Email Support@forestlyequipments.com with your order number, the item you’re returning, and the reason. For damaged/defective items, attach clear photos/videos.
- Receive Instructions: We’ll reply (usually within 1–2 business days) with your RMA, a prepaid label, and packing directions. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
- Exchange Option: If exchanging, include the preferred SKU/model. If there’s a price difference, we’ll invoice/refund the difference after we receive your return.
Packing & Safety
- Return the product in its original packaging with all parts, accessories, and manuals.
- Freight items must be secured on a pallet with straps/banding and protected with wrap/cardboard.
- Fuel-powered equipment: Drain all fuels/flammables and vent/dry for 24 hours before transport (required by law).
Refunds
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days after the return is received and inspected. (Bank processing times may vary.)
- No restocking fee for eligible returns in original condition. If items are missing or show use/damage beyond inspection, we may adjust the refund to cover restoration.
Non-Returnable Items
- Used, installed, modified, or damaged items (not due to carrier damage or manufacturer defect).
- Items returned without original packaging/components.
- Consumables/wear parts (e.g., belts, blades, chains, oils) once opened/used, unless defective on arrival.
- Any item containing fuels/flammables not drained as required.
- Stolen or lost products.
What Is Returnable
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
- Components damaged in normal use due to a covered defect (subject to evaluation).
Various Return Situations
Damaged Upon Receipt
Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt, take photos/videos at delivery, and contact us within 5 business days. At our discretion we will arrange parts, replacement, or a return at no cost to you.
Incorrect Quantity / Missing Parts
Report discrepancies with photos of the carton and packing list. Once confirmed, we’ll ship the missing items free of charge.
Defective Products
Contact us for technical support. If the item is defective and not field-repairable, we’ll arrange a replacement or a free return with full refund.
Cancellations
- Before dispatch: Email us to cancel for a full refund.
- After dispatch: Accept delivery and request a return using the steps above (free return within 30 days).
Processing & Delivery Reference
- Processing: 5–8 business days before dispatch.
- Shipping (U.S.): Free; typical transit 8–12 business days after dispatch.
- Unloading: Free professional unloading included for LTL freight.
Where to Send Returns
Return locations vary by item and carrier. Use only the address on your RMA label to ensure proper routing. Returns sent without an RMA may be refused.
Warranty Support (Separate from Returns)
Forestly products carry a 2-year limited warranty. See our Limited Warranty for coverage and claim steps. We may resolve issues via parts-in-field, authorized repair, or replacement.
